Raw strawberry and chia seeds jam















Ingredients 
1 cup strawberries (fresh or frozen and thawed)
1 teaspoon water (or less, depending on how "juicy" are strawberries)
1 tablespoon chia seeds
liquid sweetener to taste - honey, maple syrup, stevia, agave nectar, etc.

Preparation Method 

Blend the strawberries with a blender / food processor until they reach the desired consistency.
Add water, chia seeds, the sweetener and mix well until everything is incorporated.
Transfer the jam in a glass jar, cover with a lid, and refrigerate for at least 1 hour
to set up.
It can be consumed with pancakes, on toast, or as a filling in various cakes / tarts.

If you do not like the texture of the seeds, you can grind the chia seeds before using them in jam.
I like to feel the texture of the raw seeds.

Jam should be good for about 1 week in the refrigerator.
