Romanian Savarins

Romanian Savarins  
Ingredients
5 eggs
6 tablespoons sugar
6 tablespoons breadcrumbs (I used whole breadcrumbs)
Stuffing
preserves / jam

whipped cream
fruits

Preparation Method
Separate the eggs yolks. Mix yolks with sugar until they turn a brighter color, then add the breadcrumbs stirring gently with a wooden spoon / spatula.
Separately, mix egg whites with salt and then incorporate the composition of yolks stirring gently with spatula.
Pour the batter into pans of muffins (almost full) previously greased and dusted with flour,

and put in the oven at 375 F for about 10-15 min.

After they have cooled cut each in half horizontally, soak with any juice or water combined with sugar and extract desired,

then brush with jam and cream. Put the halves back together and decorate with whipped cream and fruit.
