Orange pumpkin soup

Supa de dovleac/bostan alb si portocale  
Ingredients
about 600 g pumpkin, diced
1 small onion (I used 3 green onions), chopped
350 ml water / vegetable broth
juice from 1 large orange , about 100-120 ml juice
1 large orange, peeled and cut into small cubes
a little bit of orange zest
2-5 tablespoons maple syrup / agave / honey

1 tablespoon of butter / oil
salt and black pepper

Preparation Method
In a pot over medium heat, melt the butter / oil and cook the onion, then add the pumpkin, broth / water, orange peel, salt, pepper and orange juice.

Boil for 20-25 minutes then blend (puree it),













and add the diced orange and simmer for 7 minutes. Sweeten the soup to your taste and serve.
