Petunie donuts















Ingredients
500 g flour
300 ml warm milk
2 teaspoons dry yeast
1 tablespoon sugar
3 tablespoons oil
1 teaspoon salt
1 egg
vanilla / lemon extract

Preparation

Dissolve the yeast in warm milk with sugar, then add the oil, extract, egg, salt, flour, and knead an elastic dough and not sticky. Allow for the dough to rise until double in size.

After the dough has risen knead it again using oil or flour so it doesn't stick to the surface, roll it in sheets, then cut round pieces using a cookie cutter or a glass.



















Fry in a skillet / pan with hot oil over medium heat.














Optional - pass the donuts through powdered sugar / vanilla sugar.
