Quick pastry

Dad's day 2012

Easy as 1, 2, 3! :)

500 g cheese cows / sheep
500 g butter
500 g flour
poppy seeds / caraway / sesame

Mix the cheese,
the butter, the salt and the flour, resulting in an elastic dough, then refrigerate it for a few hours.

Spread a sheet of dough of at least 1 cm thick (I've done it half a cm) and cut in any shape you desire (I chose hearts).

Then put in trays lined with baking paper,

brush with egg yolk, then drizzle with poppy / caraway / sesame,

and bake at 180C/360F.

Some pastries I split in half and put a heart of turkey bacon.
